Marquel turns 8

Marquel turned 8 on May 10th. And boy did we have a big birthday bash for her. On friday night, Troy and I took her to dinner and then we let her open her presents from us. Of course she scored big time! She got some new clothes, (she is a clothes fanatic!) a Hannah Montana game for her Nintendo DS, and a new Stereo for her room! She seemed to love everything, and was way excited that she got to open some presents the day before her birthday. Birthday morning we traved to Salt Lake to see Troy's parents. His mom held a big birthday party for all the kids that have birthdays in May. When we arrived at his mom's house we found that the party had already begun. There was a big blow up bouncer, a chocolate machine, and the hot-tub was turned into a swimming pool for all of the little ones to swim in. As the day continued on we pulled out her birthday cake and her nana gave her a big box to open.. Inside the box was a princess lamp. We all had a great time! Sunday morning came and we traveled to Manti for yet another celebration. We arrived and of course there were more presents (my mom and dad spoil her to death!!) She got more new clothes and a Hanna Montana CD! Her birthday was complete. We bbq turkey and had a great time. Happy Birthday Marquel!!!
